"Village To Village" Tsunami relief appeal:

Blue Pie was fortunate to be able to donate two items from our memorabilia collection to be auctioned by the Village To Village" Tsunami relief appeal and raise over $1100 to help the victims of the disaster. You can read the great note of thanks from Matt Farmer, Event Co-Ordinator.

"Hey Damien and the Blue Pie Team, thank you for your contributions to the "Village To Village" Tsunami relief appeals in January and March this year. These were local, grass roots initiatives from local surfing communities, musicians and pro surfers on the Northern beaches of Sydney which through the assistance of the Lions Club International, Quiksilver, engin and Surf Aid International raised over $15,000.00 from these events. The funds raised went to specific villages in the Mentawi and Tews islands who were largely missed by mainstream aid at the time of this horrendous disaster. These contributions were invaluable in saving lives through medical aid and support. Thank you for so much for your valued contribution."

We are now into our 7th year of sponsoring The Hawks Major League Baseball Team. The total sponsorship to date is now over $25,000. Magic Blue Creative and Blue Pie have provided the website, design, web radio and all hosting/email services for the Hawks MLB since 2003.

This is just one of the many ways that we help to give back to the community. As we grow we will continue to support community sports where possible. If you would like us to help your charity grow then email damien@bluepie.com.au to find out more.

Blue Pie is very pleased to be able to support the 46664 foundation. The project is an initiative from Blue Pie Productions, Crush Management, Rusty Anderson, Dino Jag and the artists that performed on this great song including Abe Laboriel Jr, David Kahne, Probin Gregory, Brian Ray, Paul Wickens and Sir Paul McCartney. The project is all about helping those affected with AIDS and the families of the affected, living with aids. The main effort is in South Africa through the 46664 foundation.

We have all united to help generate sales of this great song so that we can send cash donations to the 46664 foundation and help those that need help the most. This is our way, all the performers and the many companies that are supporting the project to help to make a difference. You can help by simply downloading this song and getting as many people as you can to download the song. Proceeds from the sale of this song world wide will go directly to the 46664 foundation. This includes the ringtones, video clip, all digital downloads and all compilation CD's that the song is licensed to and any advertising revenue we generate. We hope that you will help to support this great cause and enjoy the music for the great new "Hurt Myself " track.

Thank you from all the crew at Blue Pie, Rusty Anderson, Crush, Dino Jag and the many artists that have gathered to support the 46664 foundation. Check out the website and download the song. Just by downloading the song you are helping those that need it the most and you get some great music at the same time.

Blue Pie and the Blue Pie Shop have provided a donation of over $15,000 in memorabilia to the Foundation Diane. Foundation Diane is a not-for-profit organisation committed to raising funds for research into the early, accurate detection of cancers to improve the health and well being of all Australians. The Foundation commemorates Diane Bath, the daughter of rugby league legend Harry Bath and Gwen Bath, who succumbed to a rare form of cancer in 1996. We are very happy to be associated with this great cause.

You can click here to read the fantastic letter of thanks from the CEO of the Foundation to the Blue Pie team and our artists that all helped with the launch of the foundation at the Sydney Hilton Hotel.

Blue Pie actively supports Variety where ever possible. One of our recent initiatives has been the creation of the Variety Barry Crocker Ringtones site.

The site provides users with the ability to download some crazy and very funny ringtones from one of Australia's iconic stars " Mr Barry Crocker ". Every time someone downloads a ringtone 30% of the profits generated on every sale are donated to Variety. You can read about how Barry supports Variety and all the fantastic work that they do by visiting Barry's website.

One of the other ways that we have been able to support Variety has been through the sale of CD's via the Blue Pie shop. Click here to see the thank you letter and donation.

Hurricane Healing was originally started as an aid for the victims of the catastrophic 2005 Hurricane Katrina. Blue Pie is committed to helping Hurricane Healing grow and generate funds for the victims of hurricane disasters around the world.

The project is all about the creation of compilation albums with artists from the Blue Pie roster. You can see the advertisement we have on Sonicbids here. Click here to see the ad. This will explain what you do to support the program and how you can help by proviing your music to help to rebuild lives from the devisation of the Hurricanes.

Since 2005 we have been able to donate over $3500 USD to the Salvation Army both locally in Australia and in the USA. This is as at July 2010. The compilation albums that we have created for this great cause just keep producing income for the victims. This is a great renewable income stream. There are amazing supporters of the campaign and in the years to come this will grow and grow. Rome was not built in one day as they say. We are proud to have been able to provide consistent support from the sales of these great albums over the past 5 years. As the Blue Pie roster of artists grows then so shall the donations to the Salvation Army helping all the victims of the Hurricanes world wide.

Please have a look over the site and see if you feel you would like to join us in with our aid program then please email: sales@bluepie.com.au

We will send you out a distribution kit and you can have your music listed in the next batch of compilations. Check out iTunes and click here to see some of the many artists that have helped so far.

Blue Pie and partner Magic Blue Creative donate part of their profits each year to World Vision. Since we started with World Vision in 1996 we have been able to donate over $17,500 AUD (This figure is as at July 2010). Most of the funds go towards aid in Africa, providing clean water for communities who would otherwise get sick from dysentery and have a much shorter life expectancy.

We also sponsor 2 World Vision children and hope that you will spare the time to check out this leader in humanitarian aid and consider doing the same. For a few dollars each week you can make a lifetime of difference. You can see our two World Vision kids Perla and Freddy below.
