The Hamilton Music Awards, Speaker Series and Festival has become one of Hamilton’s most important annual musical events. The event was introduced in 1995 as a music festival to showcase local talent for the international music industry who were in town for the Canadian JUNO Awards. The event has grown significantly since then and now includes a nationally broadcast music awards show, an industry awards show, festival, speaker series and Rising Star Search. Each year the event attracts music industry executives and fans from across Canada.

Bill Boyd-Wilson (of The Cadillac Bill Show) nominated in the category of “Media Person of the Year” by the Hamilton Music Awards and September Seventh Entertainment Ltd. for the new “Gala Awards” (formerly The Industry Awards) The New Gala Awards take place at 4pm on Saturday May 28th at Bay City Music Hall.
