Blue Pie and John Enghauser close off 2010 with a bang and look to 2011 for more success !

2010 was a massive year for John and here are just some of the highlights. We are all extremely happy with the results and all the work that Suzanne Carey, Jon Taber, Simone, Maya, Rufus and the Blue Pie team put into making this all happen. None of this could have happened without our super star folk master Mr John Enghauser. So from everyone here at Blue Pie and from Blue Pie USA we send out the love and a huge note of thanks to John for writing and recording such a ground breaking album.

LA MUSIC AWARDS 2010: John was nominated in three categories and was one of the presenters due to his past wins. You can see the red carpet interview at The Paramount Theatre. See the RealTV interview here

LA MUSIC AWARDS 2010: John presented the posthumous award to Jaco Pastorius’ family for his contributions made during his musical career. John is a massive fan and his son was very gracious in accepting the award. John and he hung out for a while afterwards while he told John stories of being on the road with Jaco when he was 9. He has very fond memories of it.

FILM: John was featured in an indie music documentary named “Hopes and Fears” which was created by up and coming filmmaker, Charlene Rodrigues. It’s really an excellent film and Charlene is now submitting it to music festivals. You can watch it in two parts on YouTube. John is featured in Part 1 + Part 2:

LIVE PERFORMANCES: As direct result of all the success John has been in constant demand now selling more CD’s at gigs that he has ever sold before

NEW ALBUM: John plans to finish his new album in 2011. John is collaborating with his good friend Eric Holden on some new material (Bassist for Josh Groban, Diane Warren, Bodeans etc.). You can read his impressive bio at www.myspace.com/eholdenbass.
