2011 was a great year for Dave Sharp and the Secret Seven! The band had some great live performances at the Detroit Jazz Festival, The Lansing Jazzfest, The Arts Eats and Beats Festival and the Kerrytown Concerthouse. Moreover, the band released two live recordings on Itunes with special guest vocalist Parag Ray. You can get it here

Events for the 2012 include a new full length recording  and Dave Sharp’s Secret 7 appearing in the WEMU 5:01 Jazz Series on Friday March 2 at 5pm at LIVE at PJs.

Look for a return to the Kerrytown Concerthouse in the Spring for the 4th concert in their “Journey” concert series. The 4th concert is a Journey to the Middle East and will feature the Middle Eastern influence found in the music of Secret Seven, with special guests Elden Kelly on guitar and Igor Houwat on Oud.
