Funky P is heading to Mannheim in South Western Germany to play a one off show at The Capitol! The Capitol is also the home-produced venue to the house band ‘Shebeen’, and Sydney singer/songwriter’ Youngblood’. Mannheim is an iconic city, well known for its’ nightlife, hospitality, tourism and music scene, so if you find yourself passing by in your travels, make sure you pop in for some of Funky P’s swinging and captivating modern funk tunes!

Funky P is a Luxembourg-based contemporary soul-funk band with a goal to set the bar to new heights in the blues and soul based genres! Funky P has created a tailored, trademark style of ready-to-dance-to funk-soul music that meets the craftsmanship quality of its roots, with a modern twist to appeal towards the future markets and generations.

Opening for several star acts such as PINK! (September –2007), and, Solomon Burke (June -2009) Funky P has become a dynamic eight piece; a mixture of those involved in the album alongside some serious new talent. The band has played a variety of venues, such as the Blues & Jazz Rally Luxembourg (2004), TV appearance of DOK.TV, Planet Hollywood Paris (2005 American Independence Day Celebration) or National Day Celebration media City in Luxembourg City, amongst much more!
