Head Office Records Signs to Blue Pie
16 Jun 2011

Blue Pie is thrilled to announce its new partnership with Head Office Records led by the legendary Australian piano and keyboard player. Peter Head.

Head Office Records is the home and sale point of music written and recorded by Peter Head over a number of years. The label was first established in 1996 by Peter Head and radio broadcaster David Woodhall. David later left to live in Tasmania, and now Peter Head manages the label as an internet service, and will soon be releasing more tracks from the vault.

The label has released two exclusive albums including Round & Round & Round sung and collaborated with AC/DC’s Bon Scott, and Peter Head’s first album recording King of the Cross, a culmination of compositions over 20 years whilst living and working around the top nightclubs of Kings Cross.

The longevity of Peter’s career is testament to his enduring popularity and has seen him excel in most musical genres including jazz, blues, rock’n’roll, cabaret, RnB, funk, country, soul, reggae and Latin. His extensive repertoire reflects this diversity. Peter is highly regarded for his talent, versatility, showmanship and professionalism throughout the music industry and has often used his skills as musical director. Peter’s 70s band Headband played support to The Rolling Stones and Elton John amongst many others, and their album is now a valuable collectors item.
