Henry Turner Jr & Flavor hit heartstrings with The Advocate!
15 Oct 2012

Henry Turner Jr & Flavor recently performed at the community event, Live After Five.

The mission of the Live After Five series is to encourage people to journey to and enjoy downtown. Once downtown, people have the opportunity to get to know the area merchants and their businesses in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All proceeds that remain after the planning and production of the series are used to support downtown projects and improvements as well as provide incentives to attract and support new businesses in the downtown area.

On Thursday, October 11, Bruce Raff, who attended the performance, published an article in The Advocate. The community and family aspect that Henry and his band brought to the show warmed Bruce.

“Turner took it to the next level, by doing one of the most-admirable things I have seen at one of these shows”

“During the performance, he invited all the children to come down to the dance area and had them Limbo to a fantastic Reggae-ish limbo song”
