MÄRVEL nominated for the GAFFA award!!!!!

The Swedish rock band MÄRVEL have been nominated for the Swedish music magazine GAFFA’s music award in the ROCK category. The award was founded 2010 and its the readers who vote which means YOU decide! Märvel’s masked live performances have earned the band a steady growing, very loyal, fanbase with an Army of fan clubs in 11 countries all over the world. Märvels music has been described as sweaty group sex with The Hellacopters, Turbonegro and Electric Six at a KISS-themed childrens party.

The band was formed in 2002 when John Steen (The King), Ulrik Bostedt (Speedo) and Tony Samuelsson (The Vicar) spent a high school exchange year in Colorado, USA. Constant touring and airplay has helped the band building a very loyal fanbase in Europe. Their second album “Thunderblood Heart” took the band to a new level in 2007. In 2011 Märvel released their stellar third album “Warhawks Of War” with guests such as Dregen (Backyard Babies) and Robert Dahlqvist (Hellacopters) followed by yet another tour through Europe and 23 weeks of rotation on national Swedish radio.

MÄRVEL released their fourth album “Hadal Zone Express” in the beginning of 2014 and it went on to get amazing reviews worldwide. Following that they released the single “Danish Rush” accompanied with a video and now the plan is to release a new EP spring 2015. 2014 has been shaping up to be a big year for MÄRVEL so show your support and follow the links and make sure you vote for these hard working rockers.
