Music Beta is officially now Google’s Music!
16 May 2012

We are pleased to announce that our new partner, Google Music U.S. has announced that Music Beta is now officially Google Music, which will remain a free service for users to store up to 20,000 songs. In addition, the Google Music store is now live and accessible through the Android Market Place. All of your content is currently live in the music store.

New features available in Google Music:

New music store in the Android Market is accessible via the web and Android devices.

Purchased songs and albums are stored on Google Music for free (and do not count toward the 20,000 song limit)

This also allows for users to share a free play of any purchased music via Google+
