Rock veteran super-group, The Rudies, are featured in this month’s Rising Magazine. The Rudies created their unique style of reggae and ska when they formed in 2004 and have since opened for notable bands such as The Wailers, Fishbone and English Beat. With catchy music and intelligent lyrics, Rising Magazine, is loving The Rudies’ new feature length release; stating that it “offers something for every taste”. The album explores themes from social justice to finding one’s place and even includes a fun cover of The Kinks. The Rudies’ self-titled album is set to be released in Spring of this year.
