Curly Joe will be appearing in a trio with the awesome Greg Jordan on guitar and the vivacious Cherie Morgan on vocals at the Barley Corn Hotel (177 Johnstone Street, Collingwood) on Saturday the 5th of November, kicking off at 7pm!
This show is your chance to be a part of history as Craig Fraser & The Legends of GOFPOS shoot their video clip for their soon to be released single "Jerry Springer". It's fun, it's red neck, it's a trailer trash special. Come to the gig, which is really a great big party, get your mug on YouTube and rock out!
There will be truckloads of entertainment with the incredible line-up including Curly Joe, Hopwood and the Gallant Trees. But that’s not all. The person in the best “Jerry Springer Guest” costume wins a slab of beer.
More about Curly Joe:
Neil Wise is a singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia who performs under the moniker, Curly Joe. He is an engaging acoustic artist, with eclectic influences from The Beatles to other singer/songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon & Paul Kelly, to newer artists like Jack Johnson, Carus Thompson & Pete Murray. His music is insightful but holds tolerably intolerant views of the world inside Curly’s head. Folk-rock songs and storytelling with attitude are the centrepiece of Curly Joe sets. Lyrically intriguing with melodic and memorable choruses, provide an entrancing experience with stories of life & love & the people (especially women) that he struggles to understand.
