Blue Pie is extremely pleased to announce that American rocker and talented singer/songwriter Johnny Bennett will be performing at the notorious London venue The Scotch, St James on the 27th November, 2012!
The Scotch was one of the single most important and influential venues of the swinging 60’s. It has been the home and hangout of some legendary musicians such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, The Kinks, The Moody Blues, The Who and even Jimi Hendrix, whose career was born after he rocked out with his guitar on The Scotch’s stage in 1966. Next door to The Scotch is The Rare Book Shop which once held an exhibition by Yoko Ono and was attended by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. We can’t wait to see Johnny rocking out on stage and wowing a big crowd.
Johnny will also be the headline act at The Dublin Castle, another legendary pub and music venue on the 10th November, 2012. Some of the biggest names in music have walked through The Dublin Castle’s doors including Blur, Coldplay, The Killers, Supergrass and The Arctic Monkeys.
Both these gigs reflect Johnny’s international success and he’s set to continue entertaining crowds with his rock n roll and highly energetic sets. London fans, these are two gigs you don’t want to miss!
