The Manhattan Syndrome take to the stage for their second headline show of the year. Fresh from a packed house in Whelans last month, the band return to The Workman's Club for the launch of their new label Walk Run Fall Records, with support from rising stars The Notas, and acclaimed songsmith The Former Soviet Republic.
Formed in Mayo and forged in Dublin, five-piece The Manhattan Syndrome have become regulars on the Dublin circuit. Their debut EP And we left it behind, released in 2011, was the realisam and an emphasis on melody led vocals, taking influence from the drive of Arcade Fire, the mood of The National, and their own pop sensibilities; they have forged a dynamic style of their own. The Manhattan Syndrome's live performances have a momentum and energy that have secured the band a reputation as one not to be missed!
When: March 16th, 2012
Time: 8pm
Where: The Workman's Club
