John Enghauser Gets The Vin Club To Groove
29 Jan 2010

John Enghauser gets the Vin Club to groove. John and Kyle will be at the Vin Club in North Beach on Friday from 8PM until 11:30PM www.thevinclub.com on Broadway between Kearny and Columbus (mentioned below in the SF Gate article). Here is the news from John “As usual we’ll mix some originals with your favourite covers. The last two shows we’ve done there have been a blast for us and they’ve asked us to play on a monthly basis. As for the latest on the music front, it’s been about a year since I released the CD “Lost in the Pages” and it’s been a great one for me. I know how lucky I am to have had this experience thus far and I’m not taking any of it for granted. A lot has happened in this time. In short, I signed with my label “Blue Pie” about six months ago and I’ve been fortunate enough to win a “best album” award and have just been nominated for “best male singer/songwriter” in the 2010 LA Music Awards. I’ve been getting global radio play and recently have been getting some great press thanks to my exceptional publicist, Doug Deutsch. Last week’s “WhatsUp” magazine had me on the cover with a 5 page article.  Below is yesterday’s Chronicle article reviewing my latest CD and announcing the Friday gig.  And so on. The new 4-piece band sounds really tight and we’ll be performing at The Roxy and The Joint in LA on Feb 25 and 26. Then we get back to SF and perform at Slim’s on March 12th. I’ll be producing a music video in coming weeks and Blue Pie will release “Cognition, Inc.” as the new single with the video. Thanks for reading and thanks again to all who’ve supported us. Just attending a show means a lot. SF Chronicle…  – Tuesday, January 26, 2010  There’s something cool happening in the local singer/songwriter scene. Catchy tunes are the order of the day. There’s a fusion of influence coming from soul and prog rock. I wish I could make up a genre name for it right now.
