Well, last year wasn’t the best, and with increased lockdown conditions across many countries in the world already and a new strain of the virus, 2021 doesn’t have an amazing start either. But what 2020 did have was an amazing ending, courtesy of DL Down3r, and this very video that he made for all of us:

This was just what we needed to see after such an extended tough time. He saw success last year with his Tik Tok endeavours, not to mention a brand new Suga Boom Boom with LadyDice, as well as increased popularity in both LA and China! And of course, the insane popularity of the Key Crashers remix of Suga Boom Boom and all the Tik Tok tributes and the like which followed, well… it all goes without saying! It mightn’t have been the best year for us, but Down3r? He was undoubtedly killing it. And the fans (and us!) loved him for it.

There’s no wonder there’s a smile on his face as he looks forward to the new year. In what was one of the darkest stretches of time in human history, he had the tenacity to make this year his own. He’s a survivor, and you can tell that from his music too. We can only hope to follow his example in the tough times that are most likely on the horizon. So today we admire Down3r’s achievements, thank him for this shoutout, and hope that you’ve all had a great holiday and new year period! And if you haven’t, hopefully things will turn around soon. Nothing can last forever, not good times or bad. And the good times are absolutely worth it. Here’s a song to remind you of some of the happier days of the past – the good times like these ones will come again. Although this song is grim in its message, it brought with it success to the artist who suffered for the sake of it. This can come to us all.
